In the N.T., these and all the other Divine characteristics are predicated of Him. To Him are ascribed , e.g., His unity, or monism, e.g., Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord ; 1 Tim. 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus ; self- existence, John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself ; immutability, James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning ; eternity, Rom. 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made,[even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse ; universality. Matt. 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. ; Acts 17:[26] And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. [27] That they should seek the Lord, if happily they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us. [28] For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. ; almighty power, Matt 19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. ; infinite knowledge, Acts 2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain. ; creative power, Rom. 11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office ; Eph. 3:9 And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. ; absolute holiness, 1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. ; righteousness, John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. ;faithfulness, 1 Cor. 1:9 God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. ;love, 1 John 4:[8] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. [16] And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. ; mercy, Rom. 9:[15] For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [18] Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will [have mercy], and whom he will he hardeneth ; truthfulness, Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.

These same Divine attributes are likewise indicated or definitely predicated of Christ, e.g., Matt. 20:[18] Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death. [19] And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify [him]: and the third day he shall rise again. ; John 1:[1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. , John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him] ; John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son ; John 5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. ; John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life ; John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live ; John 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself. ; John 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man ; John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice. ; John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.; John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. ; John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ; John 17:[22] And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. [23] I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. [24] Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.; Romans 1:4 And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead., Romans 9:5 Whose [are] the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ [came], who is over all, God blessed for ever. This is the true God, and eternal life.; Revelation 22:[12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
