In the Jan 23, 1995 Wall Street Journal in an article titled Panel Advises Private Sector to Prepare For Shift to One European Currency. In this article it stated that Next summer, the group's

final report will be presented to the 15 European Union governments with a primer on how to perform the conversion... French government officials speak of pressing for the launch of a European monetary union in 1997, the earliest start-up date provided by the Maastricht treaty. It may not be completely implemented in 1997 but as we can see the wheels are in motion. Of course, once a common currency is established, why not switch to cashless.?

Daniel 2:42 And [as] the toes of the feet [were] part of iron, and part of clay, [so] the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. If you were to check out the political sides of these nations in the Common Market, you would find out that some of the nations are weaker nations politically and some are stronger. But, unite these nations together and you have a United European nation that is in the running strength as is the U.S. and the once U.S.S.R. Now that the U.S.S.R. is no-longer then I'd say we have some pretty head to head competition.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. According to this scripture, Jesus is supposed to return during this 10 nation confederacy and rule forever. I (in my opinion) feel that within our lifetimes that we will see the return of Jesus and the end of the world as we know it to be today.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. -- According to this scripture, Daniel was told that no one would understand the end time prophecies until the end. and that knowledge and travel would be greatly increased. Today we see that very thing happening, with the computer age in play, our knowledge is increasing at a geometric scale of approximately double every 5 years, and with the Jet age and Space age we travel at great distances all the time. Even traveling at a distance of just 30 miles (which most of us do everyday) was not even done at the turn of the century. And now with the use of such services as America-On-Line, Compu-serve and the Inter-Net, information and knowledge is being share across the world at the speed of light on the information highway where there are no speed limits.

Matthew 24:3-7 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. -- Just this very thing is happening today, increased false religions; 45% of the world is in some type of war; Starvation and disease (AIDS, CANCER, Etc.); Earthquakes have also increased over 300% in the last 50 years all over the world. Just in 1995 we have had some pretty major earthquakes already. Japan's killing over 5000 and billions of dollars of destruction.
